If you weren't buying direct from the vineyard, this wine would cost you a lot more. Find out why.

The Dorset Crémant remains the UK's only home-produced Crémant. With a less aggressive fizz than traditional sparkling wine it slides across the palate with a gentle creaminess, hence the name. Bright, attractive pale lemon colour with a persistent fine mousse. A delightfully fresh, floral nose of citrus and stone fruit with decadent notes of apple strudel and brioche. A delicious palate of ripe, apple and sherbet lemon fruit with a sumptuous creamy texture and fresh, citrus acidity.

Excellent wine purchase regularly

I first tried this in a restaurant (The Pig At Combe), so was pleased I could buy direct and have some at home. It was bought for everyday drinking, but it's definitely worthy of celebratory status. Bride Valley Cremant lives up to its name, it is undoubtedly creamy, and as such, very drinkable! This wine is made more enjoyable for me that it's British, it is definitely better than many of its French counterparts. Having tried several English and regional wines, it's up there as a favourite alongside those from Castlewood in East Devon. Well done Bride Valley- a lovely wine, delivered with good service. I look forward to experiencing some of your other wines. Thank you 🥂

Currently, according to my palate, more or less as good as English sparkling wine gets.

  • "Vibrant and zippy, lime zest, nashi pear and lemon sorbet with a touch of cream, honey and hints of toast on the palate, with a mineral long finish." - Decanter Judge, 2024

  • "A delicate bouquet of green apple and lemon zest accompanied by a touch of brioche. The palate is invigorated by vibrant bubbles and zesty acidity, finishing with lingering notes of apple blossom and a hint of salinity" IWSC 2025

  • "A perfect dinner party welcome for your friends served alongside a few nibbles or even a very special breakfast!"
