When are you open to visitors?
Guided tours typically run from Easter through to harvest on selected weekdays and weekends.

How do I get to Bride Valley Vineyard?
We’re located just outside the village of Litton Cheney in West Dorset, nestled in the Bride Valley countryside.
We’re around 10 miles west of Dorchester, not far from the Jurassic Coast.

Are dogs permitted on the property?
Well-behaved dogs on leads are welcome in our outdoor spaces and the tasting tent.
As we’re a working vineyard, dogs must be kept under control at all times.

Can I bring my children along?
Children are welcome to join in for events such as our Vineyard Picnics in the summer. However, our tours and tastings are tailored for adults and not suitable for under-18s. We kindly ask that children do not attend the tours or tasting sessions.

Can I pop in for a tasting without a reservation?
All our tastings and tours are by reservation only. Please email us if you request a date that is not showing on our calendar. 

Do you provide food or snacks?

We do not. However, if you are booking a private tour for a special occasion and would like there to be a catered option, please send us an email and we are happy to talk over options. You are welcome to bring along your own picnic.

Is Bride Valley accessible for wheelchair users?
Contact us before booking if you have any specific needs and we’ll do our best to help accommodate.

Can the tasting tent be hired for private events?
Our tasting tent can occasionally be hired for small private events, though please note that facilities are limited.
If you'd like to discuss hiring the space for a private function, please get in touch directly.

Can coaches or minibuses access the vineyard?
Large coaches are not suitable due to narrow country roads and limited turning space.
Minibuses or smaller coaches (up to 20 seats) are usually fine, but please contact us to confirm before arriving.

How do I make a tour booking?
You can book online through our tours page
If you’re using a gift voucher, simply choose the "Tour with Voucher" option when booking and bring the voucher with you on the day.

Can I use a gift voucher to book a tour?
Yes! When booking online, just select your tour date and choose the “with voucher” option at checkout.
You won’t be charged - but do remember to bring your physical or digital voucher with you when you visit.

When is the ideal time to visit for a tour?
Our tours run from Easter to harvest.

-Autumn brings the excitement of harvest season
Each time of year offers something unique.

Do tours go ahead in bad weather?
Yes - vineyard tours take place rain or shine.
We suggest bringing waterproofs and suitable footwear in case of muddy conditions. We may slightly adjust routes during very poor weather.

• What should I wear to a vineyard tour?
  -Comfortable, practical clothing is best:-Wear flat, enclosed shoes or boots-Bring a jacket or waterproof layer
• -Dress for walking outdoors in the countryside

Can I change or cancel my tour booking?
You can modify or cancel your booking up to 24 hours before your scheduled tour using your confirmation email link.
For last-minute changes, please give us a call and we’ll do what we can to assist.

What if someone in my group can’t make it anymore?
If we’re able to resell the space, we’ll happily provide a refund. Please notify us as early as possible.

Do you accept large group bookings?
We can accommodate groups of up to 16 on standard tours.
For parties of up to 25, we offer tailored group tours - just contact us to arrange a suitable date.

Can you supply wine for weddings or special occasions?
We’d be delighted to help with wines for your celebration. Whether it’s a wedding, private party, or corporate event, we can offer expert recommendations and competitive packages.
