LIMITED EDITION ANNIVERSARY BLANC DE BLANC 2018 MAGNUM
Celebrating 50 years of Steven Spurrier’s Academie Du Vin
 
Bride Valley’s Blanc de Blanc 2018 Magnum was released last year to mark the 50th Anniversary of the famous wine school the 'Academie Du Vin’ , set up by global wine legend Steven Spurrier in 1973 in Paris.
 
With only 313 limited edition anniversary magnums made and just 96 available, this is a one-off opportunity to buy a piece of wine history!  The multi-award-winning Blanc de Blanc 2018 was considered by Steven to be Bride Valley’s signature wine, a true expression of the vineyard’s terroir and rightly chosen for this anniversary magnum. It has a fine elegant nose of citrus fruit with toasted brioche, stone fruit and green apples. On the palate it is immediately crisp and fresh but leads to a beautifully creamy texture with citrus fruit acidity.
 
The magnum is presented in a beautifully created anniversary box with the history of the Academie Du Vin inside the case, a wonderful keep sake for Spurrier fans.

"We are so proud to announce these unique 2018 Bride Valley Blanc de Blancs Magnums:  a collaboration between The Spurrier family, l'Academie du Vin in Toronto, and team at Bride Valley Wines. 
 
Celebrated as one of the world's very first dedicated wine schools, l'Academie du Vin was set up in 1973, in Paris, by our much missed father and husband, Steven Spurrier. 
 
It was a wonderful part of our daily lives in that city, and its influence on the world of wine since has been imeasureable. 
 
Steven always said, it was his proudest achievement.  
 
Fifty years later, it is still thriving. To celebrate this unique anniversary and the beginning of a new era at Bride Valley, we decided to create a really special limited edition boxed magnum, bringing together two of Steven most beloved endeavours - l'Academie du Vin and Bride Valley. 
 
These magnums are in a strictly limited edition. Each is numbered and boxed, in a way that beautifully commemorates Steven's illustrious and much-storied career in wine.  
 
Marking the finest vintage yet of our medal-winning Blanc de Blancs, we feel these magnums are themselves a small piece of wine history - and we really hope you love them as much as we do.
